Waterfront

Waterfront was an interdisciplinary project coordinated by Catalyst Arts held at the Belfast Waterfront Hall in May, 1997. The project was part of an ongoing programme of exhibitions developed by Catalyst Arts, initiating new contexts outside of the gallery to experience contemporary art in. The exhibition involved eight artists based in different centres to respond to the site of the Waterfront Hall. The work was installed throughout the public areas of the building as opposed to the designated exhibition areas.

Artists involved: Mark Dawes, Graham Fagen, Daniel Jewesbury, Ronan McCrea, Eoghan McTigue, Mark Orange, Susan Phillipsz, and Mike Wilson.
