Volunteer Call Out

Catalyst Arts looking for volunteers to be part of our upcoming programming year 2020-2021

This coming year at Catalyst will focus on ways to activate the gallery and engage with diverse audiences through a varied programme of exhibitions and events. Alongside our gallery exhibition programme, we will present a series of talks, tours, reading groups and workshops as well as our dedicated outreach programme Catalyst at School. During 2020/21 we will deliver three diverse Directors Shows, continue to be a vital platform for students and emerging artists, provide an array of opportunities for our members and  develop new creative partners across Belfast and Internationally. 

We are looking for dynamic and motivated individuals who are interested in all things contemporary art  and visual culture to help support the board in this work. You will gain experience in the preparation and execution of exhibitions including performance, installation, artist support, invigilation, archive work, social media and more. In addition to some getting some first hand insight into the day to day running of an artist organisation. This is a unique opportunity to get behind the scenes and establish close contacts with curators, artists and participants of our upcoming programme.
