The title of the show comes from a Hungarian saying and refers to a point in time when things are their worst and physical and mental escapism is the only answer. Both artists address the notion of imagined spaces through the use of alternative environments, artificial landscapes or altered states. Although their concerns are similar both artists employ different mediums including aspect of performance, painting, installation, video and photography.
