Catalyst Arts are proud to announce Aideen Doran as the recipient of the Artist Moving Image Film Commission. Her work will be presented during the FLATPACK Film Festival in Birmingham in April 2017.

Aideen Doran is a visual artist working across moving image, installation and writing. In 2016 she was shortlisted for the Margaret Tait award for artists working with moving image in Scotland, and her work has been supported by The British Council, Northern Film and Media and The Arts Council of Northern Ireland. Aideen has exhibited across the UK, Europe and further afield. Recent exhibitions include Coppice at Verge Gallery, Sydney (2016), Set Background at Embassy Gallery, Edinburgh (2016), Im Bau at Grand Union, Birmingham (2015), After Hours at Platform Arts, Belfast (2015) and Glasgow Project Room (2014) and Ghost in the Machine at Galway Arts Centre (2014).
